Hello there,

Welcome to RickAndThelCarey.com My name is Lynne Carey and I am Rick and Thel’s daughter (and only surviving child).

I am in the process of putting this site together to provide information particularly for those long standing fans of Mum and Dad, as well as for any new people who perhaps, never had the opportunity to go to one of their shows during the 30 years they were touring the Australian countryside, but have found them in more recent times.

I plan on providing access to some recent products we have produced, which includes a CD that Dad has put out in 2007, and we have recently released 3 DVD’s which can be purchased separately or as a 3 Volume set.  I also hope to share some more personal information about them, the family and the years that they toured.  So there should be some history and stories to tell.

I am still working on how ways to develop the site, so if there is anything that you can think of that you would like to see here, please let me know via the Contact page.

One idea I have had was to give people the opportunity of sharing a story or anecdote about your experiences in attending the show, or meeting Mum and Dad.  If they don’t apply, then perhaps you can share how you came across them and became interested in their show or their music.

If you have such a story, and you would like to share it, please submit it via the contact form.  I will be setting up some ‘blog’ pages and assuming there are no issues, I will publish your story.  Don’t forget to include your name (how you would like it displayed in a credit) and perhaps your location, such as town and state.  I won’t publish any personal details like addresses or emails or anything else you would rather not have put in print.
